Cory Jackson

Bridging the gap between the timeless sounds of country music’s past and the energy of today, Arkansas-born Cory Jackson is an independent singer, songwriter, and entertainer with a passion for great songs, genuine storytelling, and connecting with the people on the other side of the microphone.

Born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Cory grew up surrounded by the rural life that continues to shape his music today. At 16, his grandfather introduced him to the guitar. What started with learning a few chords and favorite country songs soon turned into songwriting, performing, and dreams of someday taking those songs to bigger stages.

​

Cory released his first EP in 2015 and has continued developing a sound rooted in the country music that first inspired him while embracing a modern edge of his own. His live shows reflect that same range, moving comfortably between country classics, modern favorites, original music, and the stories behind the songs. Whether performing solo acoustic or with a full band, Cory brings an approachable, family-friendly energy to the stage and a natural ability to connect with audiences across generations.

That journey has taken Cory from restaurants, fairs, festivals, and independent artist competitions to opening for artists including The Oak Ridge Boys, Tracy Lawrence, Parmalee, and Rosanne Cash. In 2018, he was named Country Artist of the Year by the Arkansas Country Music Awards.

In 2019, Cory stepped onto a national stage during Season 17 of NBC’s The Voice. His performance of Glen Campbell’s “Galveston” earned a three-chair turn before he ultimately joined Team Blake, receiving mentorship from Blake Shelton and later working with Darius Rucker during the competition. Their encouragement to continue writing helped reinforce the direction Cory was already pursuing as an artist and songwriter.

His music has continued to earn recognition in the years since. The video for “Put Some Country in Your Country” was named Video of the Year at the 2022 Arkansas Country Music Awards, “Your Love” earned a Top 5 nomination for Song of the Year in 2023, and Cory was named Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2024 Arkansas Country Music Awards, where he performed his original song “When the Needle Drops.”

His releases “Toolbox” and “Right in Front of Me” further showcased his blend of traditional country influence and contemporary storytelling. Now, Cory opens a new chapter with his latest single, “Begin to Fall,” continuing to build a catalog centered on honest lyrics, memorable melodies, and the moments in life worth holding onto.

For Cory, however, music has always been about more than a list of accomplishments. It is about connection—the shared memory brought back by an old country song, the story inside a new one, and the relationship created between an entertainer and an audience. That same philosophy extends beyond the stage through Cory’s Country Club and the community that has grown alongside his music.

From an intimate acoustic room to a festival stage, Cory remains grounded in the things that started the journey in the first place: faith, country music, and connecting with people through a song.
